One-hour late start

Wednesday, Sept. 10, is a one-hour late start for most schools. School will begin one hour later than the Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday start time.  Teachers will use this time to work together to implement best practices of high-quality instruction. Students will be released at the usual times.

The importance of regular attendance

Thank you for working to maintain your child’s attendance. Regular attendance and punctuality are essential to student learning and success. The skills that students learn in primary school will help them be successful in middle and high school. A student’s attendance often can predict whether they are likely to graduate high school on time. Learn more.

You're invited: Citizens Advisory Committee

Join the Citizens Advisory Committee

This Thursday, Sept. 11, attend the first Citizens Advisory Committee meeting from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Battle Ground High School library. All parents, guardians and community members are welcome, no RSVP or application required. Learn more.

Mental health is health

Mental health support

Recognizing when people in our lives are struggling and helping them feel comfortable talking about it can help prevent mental health crises. If you or someone you know needs mental health support, Care Solace provides 24/7 confidential connections to professionals. It’s free for Battle Ground students, staff and their immediate family members. Learn more.

Report, don't repost. Battle Ground Public Schools and Vector Solutions

Report, don't repost

If you see or hear of a possible threat, please report it to law enforcement directly and/or to school staff. This is the best and most helpful action because it begins an investigation and helps to limit the potential for misinformation to spread. You can report bullying, intimidation, harassment, threats and safety concerns using our anonymous reporting system. Emergencies should always be reported to 911.
