One-hour late start

Wednesday, Sept. 24, is a one-hour late start for most schools. School will begin one hour later than the Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday start time. Teachers will use this time to work together to implement best practices of high-quality instruction. Students will be released at the usual times.

Share your thoughts in a short survey

We want to hear your thoughts on school and district communication. You can also share other ideas that you think are important. Please take this short survey and share your thoughts with us by Oct. 10.

Meal benefit expiration

Free and reduced-price meal benefits will expire on Wednesday, Oct. 8, for students who have not renewed their application from last school year. Families must reapply for meal benefits each year to continue receiving meals at a reduced rate and/or to waive or reduce certain fees (this also requires a consent to share form). Only one application is required for each family, and the information is always kept confidential.

How to reapply:

  • Complete the application in Skyward.

  • Download an application.

  • Pick up an application at your child’s school.

Upcoming deadline to protect your child’s Chromebook

While accidental damage to a school-issued Chromebook can happen, you can avoid paying the full cost of repairs or replacement by enrolling in our optional assurance program. Sept. 30 is the deadline for current students to purchase this protection. Find out how.
